events

The Office of Transfer Transitions is here to provide you with activities and events where you can learn about transferring to ASU. We host and attend events at community colleges in Arizona and in Southern California (primarily in the San Diego area). Please check back often for new events.

Transfer Days

Transfer Days are held at various community college campuses during the fall and spring semesters. Transfer Day events are a great way for community college students to connect with ASU transfer advisors, learn about financial-aid programs and begin the admissions process. Representatives from specific colleges are present to provide detailed information on different majors and to answer questions about transferring to a specific major.

Transfer Ready Workshops

Transfer Ready Workshops are designed for students who have completed at least 45 credit hours and intend to transfer to ASU in the coming year. This is a hands-on event that walks a student through services and resources available at ASU. Participants will take an in-depth look at the online application process and will have the opportunity to complete an application on-site. Students are able to schedule an appointment with a transfer advisor and/or a campus tour.

College Fairs

ASU sends representatives to community college campuses in Arizona and the San Diego area for college fairs. These events are hosted by the community college and are open to students on that particular campus. College fairs are an opportunity for students to explore what ASU has to offer in general and to provide future connections to the university.
