Transfer advisors are dedicated to helping you as you prepare to transfer to ASU. These advisors are available to meet with you even before you apply; pre-application sessions are designed to assist you with the following:
- Exploring majors at ASU.
- Reviewing your transfer course work (unofficial General Studies evaluation).
- Answering questions about transferring and guiding you to additional ASU resources.

After Admission to ASU
Once you are admitted to ASU, you will be assigned an academic advisor in your major. This advisor will:
- Review your DARS report through My ASU. Once you are admitted, you may view your advising information at My ASU, including contact information for your advisor, and access to ASU’s comprehensive academic advising directory.
- Complete the formal evaluation of your transfer work.
- Help you identify appropriate classes to take for your first semester at ASU and beyond.
- Sign off on any registration hold you may have related to advising.
